ABOUT YOKES
“YOKES” is a Christian ministry that began with the purpose of helping Christians bear the burdens of life, based on Matthew 11:8. In 2008, a group of Christian youths who loved the church and the Christian community founded this ministry with the aim of empowering the underprivileged Christian community and churches.
Since 2008, “YOKES” has been implementing various initiatives to help small congregations in the southern region of Chittagong, Bangladesh, become financially and socially self-sufficient. The ministry’s main programs include providing educational support to youth, religious education, healthcare, assistance during natural disasters, physical and mental development through sports, keeping youth away from immoral activities, and offering vocational training. Through these activities, “YOKES” is committed to empowering the Christian community and making it self-reliant.
